Reducing plastic use also helps conserve non-renewable resources and combat climate change. Beyond environmental stewardship, reducing plastics aligns with many hotels' sustainability commitments, aids in complying with emerging regulations, and can result in significant cost savings by investing in reusable items. Furthermore, an increasing number of environmentally conscious travelers prefer staying at that share their values, potentially attracting more patrons.  To qualify for verification, the hotel must achieve an overall score of 80%.
