This audit follows the Hotel Resilient Standards. The standards take proven disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation strategies and tailor them to the needs of the hotel industry. They outline the policies, procedures and actions hotels should implement to become disaster and climate resilient. The audit is divided into seven general sections and two building specific sections. The audit therefore addresses hotels with multiple buildings and provides individual scores for each building type. Your responses to the audit questions will combine to measure a hotel's risk and resilience to natural and technological hazards, including impacts from climate change.

Hotel Evacuation Preparedness Audit

This audit has been developed for the purpose of assessing the readiness of a hotel to successfully evacuate guests and staff during an emergency situation.

This assessment was done as a self-assessment and not (yet) reviewed.

The audit reviews a number of factors that influence the capacity of the hotel to implement a safe and effective evacuation during different hazard scenarios, including hazard and site details, evacuation policies, evacuation infrastructure, emergency communication and accessibility. The results of the audit will evaluate the level of safety and care required for evacuating individuals, families or other groups of people.

We provided shelter after the latest earthquake

When the latest earthquake hit, we opened our doors to provide shelter for those who were displaced. We worked with local authorities to coordinate relief efforts and provided food and water for those in need. It was a challenging time, but we felt proud to be able to provide some comfort during a difficult situation. Our guests were supportive of our efforts, and it brought our community closer together. We hope we never have to do it again, but we stand ready to help if needed.

All menues now come with fully vegan options

We've added vegan options to all our meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We've sourced the freshest ingredients and created delicious plant-based dishes that even meat-eaters enjoy. Our guests appreciate our efforts, and we've noticed an increase in bookings as a result. It's important to us to provide options that are healthy and sustainable for everyone. We're proud to be leading the way in vegan-friendly hospitality, and we hope to inspire others to follow suit.
