This audit addresses issues of internal social responsibility, cultural preservation, internal environmental management, supply chain engagement and customer communication. In addition, this self-assessment will help you to figure out where your business stands in terms of sustainability, where you're already doing a good job, and where there's room for improvement. Sustainability has become essential for the success and continuity of tourism businesses. Responsible practices in hotels not only save costs, improve staff satisfaction, have positive impacts on customer experience and their likelihood of returning, but help us to save our planet.

This assessment has been developed for the purpose of determining the capacity of a hotel to accommodate guests who have been forced to evacuate unsafe areas in case of disasters.

Score: 83 / 100 %

The assessment evaluates safety protocols, essential amenities, and support services tailored to meet the specific needs of evacuees. By examining these key areas, we aim to ensure that the hotel can provide not only a secure temporary shelter but also a supportive environment. The results will be used to identify those hotels that would satisfy the level of care required for accommodating evacuated individuals, families or other groups of people.

Our back-up generators are now flood-proof

We are a hotel that takes disaster preparedness seriously. We've upgraded our back-up generator with flood protection to ensure we can continue to provide power in the event of a flood. We've also created a comprehensive disaster plan and trained our staff to be ready to respond in case of an emergency. Our guests feel reassured knowing that we're prepared for any situation. It's important for us to prioritize the safety and comfort of our guests.

All menues now come with fully vegan options

We've added vegan options to all our meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We've sourced the freshest ingredients and created delicious plant-based dishes that even meat-eaters enjoy. Our guests appreciate our efforts, and we've noticed an increase in bookings as a result. It's important to us to provide options that are healthy and sustainable for everyone. We're proud to be leading the way in vegan-friendly hospitality, and we hope to inspire others to follow suit.

We planted new mangroves around our beach

We've planted mangroves along the coast to increase our tsunami protection. The mangroves not only help to prevent erosion, but also provide a habitat for marine life. We've also educated our guests about the importance of protecting our environment and reducing their carbon footprint. It's important for us to take action to protect our community and the planet. We're proud to be part of the solution, and we hope to inspire others to do the same.
